INSULATION
Insulation is of PVC compound conforming to the requirments of type 1 compound of IS:5831-1970.
COLOUR OF INSULATION
The insulation cores are identified by different colouring of PVC insulation. The following scheme is generally adopted.

The sheath is of PVC compound confirming to the requiremnts of Type 6 compound of IS:5831 – 1970.
COLOUR OF THE SHEATH:
The colour of the sheath is black, white or grey
